Aviation Safety

Aviation safety is critical to protecting lives, strengthening our national airspace system, and supporting the safe integration of emerging technologies. The National Transportation Safety Organization (NTSO) is committed to advancing safety across all areas of aviation, including commercial aviation, general aviation, and the rapidly evolving unmanned aircraft systems environment. We actively advocate for responsible drone operations, support the development and deployment of Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C UAS) capabilities to address safety and security risks, and work to ensure that innovation does not outpace safety. Through collaboration with government agencies, industry leaders, and public safety professionals, NTSO promotes practical, data driven solutions that enhance aviation safety nationwide. This important work will also be highlighted at our upcoming national conference, where experts from across the country will come together to address today’s most pressing aviation safety challenges and opportunities.
